Matthew (Matt) D. Twomey
As
president of High Construction Company, Mr. Twomey leads a team
of 80 professionals. He offers 25 years of industry experience,
including management and leadership of architectural, engineering,
pre-construction, and construction teams.
Mr. Twomey started his career in 1981 as a mechanical
engineer for an electric power company in Washington, DC, and
quickly progressed to roles in pre-construction management and
project management for Washington, DC-based construction firms.
After directly managing projects for a variety of health care,
commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, Mr. Twomey
was promoted to senior vice president for a major construction
management firm in Harrisburg where he was responsible for pre-construction,
construction, and engineering operations. Just prior to joining
High Construction, Mr. Twomey owned a construction firm serving
customers in the mid-state area.
Mr. Twomey earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from The Catholic University of America, Washington,
DC. He serves on boards for the Whitaker Center for Science and
the Arts and Children's Miracle Network, and is also a member
of Toastmasters International.
