As High Real Estate Group continues to proactively adapt to a new real estate marketplace, it will seek opportunities to provide quality development and management skills to outside owners.  The principle focus is to enhance the High reputation of quality and customer service in the real estate development industry by promoting its capabilities as a developer, builder, asset and property manager, and syndicator.

Mr. Smithgall began his real estate career as a residential and commercial Realtor in 1975. In 1989, he began his career at High Associates Ltd. as a project manager.  In addition to his work at High Associates, Mr. Smithgall served as manager of business development at High Construction Company. 

Active in community and industry activities, Mr. Smithgall has served on the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Lancaster County and is the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Southeast Lancaster Health Services.  He is also a board director and economic development committee chair of The Lancaster Campaign, a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Board of Directors of the Lancaster County Transportation Authority, the Lancaster County Association of Realtors and its Commercial/Industrial Council, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Mr. Smithgall holds a B.A. in Political Science from Franklin & Marshall College and a Masters degree in Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
