Ms. Barr 's brokerage career began in the Central Pennsylvania Region in 1985.  She joined High Associates, Ltd. in September, 2002.

She attended Northern Illinois University and has been active in Commercial Real Estate in Texas and Rhode Island, where she worked with Reynolds Metals Development Corporation.  She also spent six years in management with John Deere Company in Syracuse, NY and Hartford, CT.  She was the Retail Coordinator for Strawberry Square, Harrisburg Development Corporation, Harrisburg, PA a mixed-use $500,000,000 urban renewal project.  She has served as a fee consultant to Physician's Groups.

Ms. Barr is a past President of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors^® and a past Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors^® serving on the Legislative Committee and the Smart Growth Task Force.  She is past Chair of the Monday Club of Harrisburg, Past Vice President of the Leukemia Society of America (local chapter) and has served on the Community Services Committee of the Capital City Rotary Club.  She has twice chaired the Commercial Council of the Board of Realtors^®.  She serves on the Community Advisory Board of Public Television Station—WITF.

Ms. Barr is a member of the Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce and has been featured in the Central Penn Business Journal as one of the few women in Commercial Real Estate in the area. She is currently the exclusive listing agent for Perry County Business Campus One.
